If the return window of the product is closed in the Amazon, then customer care would ask you to contact the seller. Amazon Customer care would not be able to do anything with the order However, they will give you the seller link and you can ask him to do the needful for you. Even if the product is from Amazon basics, the product is a part of Amazon, but the warranty would be claimed by the manufacturer only.
