Forum is a platform where users can express their questions and doubts and others answers it. It is a great way to increase user engagement and traffic. There are hundreds of blogger forums are out there like indie blogger etc. So it is wiser to start a forum for blogger in a specific niche or micro niche. This will create a community of users around the niche.

Forums are usually made with Nabble in blogger. But when i tried to embed forum widget with Nabble, I got errors and could not start a forum. That’s where I search and discovered other ways to embed a forum BlogSpot Blogger without nabble. Maybe you have already added Nabble forum widget in your blog but if you are not satisfied with it, you can try Tal.ki or other better ways that are listed below.

Today I am going to share you the easiest way to add a free forum to your blog-spot blog. Have you heard of tal.ki? I think you don’t because that is why you are reading this post. So what is tal.ki?

According to ReadWriteWeb which is a good site including reviews and discussion, “Tal.ki isn’t kidding when it says it’s as simple as cutting and pasting a single line of code”. This makes no sense right. It will when you hear what Techcruch have to say about tal.ki. Techcrunch says that tal.ki is the easiest way to add a forum to a website. Now it is evident that tal.ki helps bloggers to add a free forum to the website by just cutting and pasting a single line of code and is an easy way for bloggers to embed a free forum widget on your blogger/blog spot blog.

Easy steps to get the script from tal.ki

First you need to go to http://tal.ki. Then click the “GET YOUR EMBEDDABLE FORUM” which is in the red box. After that you will be redirected to another page. In that page you will see “try it for free” button. Click “try it for free”. There you also have two other offers- $5 per month and platinum. In my opinion, you just try it first and take the offer if you like their service. You could buy it for just $5 per month if you have like it. You could also go for platinum by contacting them in this MAIL ID : [email protected].

What are the features of free membership?

The main features of free membership of tal.ki are that it allows unlimited posting and unlimited members. Isn’t it nice to have so many active friends in your forum discussing all the fun around internet without paying anything?

Another good thing is it allows 15 recent topics.

Free membership also allows 5 sub-forums to be added.

You can upgrade the free membership to platinum or pro at any time

Then you go to http://tal.ki/_rpx/?next=/payment/free/ and check out the free membership page. Then you need to sign in to the site by Facebook, Google, twitter or other social network which you are a member. I prefer Google which is more convenient and reliable. So now you will get a pop-up page. Allow it in the browser. It is a cross over page which will sign in you to tal.ki. After signing in you will get a code like this,

<script src=”http://m67h80227t.embed.tal.ki/embed/1.js” type=”text/javascript”></script><br />
<div id=”m67h80227tt4lk1prm0″ style=”font-size: 80%; text-align: center;”>
<span style=”font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;”>get your own <a href=”http://tal.ki/? utm_source=install&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_campaign=get_your_own”>embeddable forum</a> with Talki</span></div>

Copy it to a notepad and add the following code below it.

<div style=”font-size:20%; text-align:left;”>Easiest way to add a free<a href=”https://www.shipmethis.com/2014/03/onlinehtmleditor.html“>embeddable forum</a> with Talki</div>

Then you need to go to Blogger Dashboard and click pages tab. Create a New blank page. Name your page as Forum, Discussion or whatever you like. Click Edit HTML and Paste the script from the notepad.

So it will be like this,

<script src=”http://m67h80227t.embed.tal.ki/embed/1.js” type=”text/javascript”></script><br />
<div id=”m67h80227tt4lk1prm0″ style=”font-size: 80%; text-align: center;”>
<span style=”font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;”>get your own <a href=”http://tal.ki/?utm_source=install&amp;utm_medium=link&amp;utm_campaign=get_your_own”>embeddable forum</a> with Talki</span></div><div style=”font-size:20%; text-align:right;”>Easiest way to add a free<a href=”https://www.shipmethis.com/2014/03/onlinehtmleditor.html“>embeddable forum</a> with Talki</div><style>

</style>

Be careful and read this instructions first.

You can also add some welcome notes before the script tag if you like. Save the page and you are done. The installation is done. Now immediately load your website and Login with your Facebook, Google, or other any accounts because the first person to login will become the administrator and we cannot change that. So go to the forum page in your browser. Sign in with Google. Allow two pop up pages and you are done with the entire configuration. Now you have a beautiful forum for your blog.
