DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN on Google Chrome is a common DNS error that blocks the users to visit websites in Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers. DNS stands for Domain Name System and the function of DNS is to resolve each domain names and translate the address to browser to access the website.

Your router or modem has a set DNS configuration. You can flush the DNS these default DNS configuration and fix the error. To flush the DNS do the following steps;

Flush DNS Using Command Prompt in Windows

Click Start Button and type cmd - cmd means Command prompt on Windows computers.
Right click on cmd and choose Run As Administrator.
A black colored window will open where you can type some commands.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. This will flush the DNS cache and enable to you access websites.


Set Alternative Public Server DNS Address

If this does not work, then go to Start, open Control Panel, select view network status and tasks Under NETWORK and INTERNET. the network connections.

Select change Adapter Settings in the left side. This will open the all network connections in your Windows computer. Double click the connection that you are having problems with. By double clicking, a new window will open that shows the network connection properties.

Double click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), select Use the following DNS server addressess and add the following numbers correctly.

Preferred DNS SERVER:
Alternate DNS SERVER

Select Ok. Select Ok

Reload Chrome browser and check the website.

I have been struggling with the issue of a website Not Loading Properly Or Appears Broken in multiple browsers. I used Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to open the website but still it looked broken. Finally I Found a way to resolve this issue of chrome doesn't display web pages correctly.

I knew the issue was of the dns but did not know how to resolve it. So I used ipconfig /release and ipconfig /flushdns and these were the popular suggestions on other websites. Then some suggested to check disk for errors, fix updates, remove ccleaner etc. but these things does not work.

How to Fix chrome doesn't display web pages correctly 2017

Surprisingly I found the below video and it just works like magic. I cannot say how happy I am to see this working. I will explain the steps here in case; I am using Windows 7.

1. Connect to Internet
2. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center
3. Click on your connection under access type
4. Select Properties
5. Double click on Internet protocol version 4
6. Check on Use the following DNS addresses
7. Add for preferred dns server
8. Add for Alternate dns server
9. Click Ok, Click Ok and Check the website again.
